This site is designed for and by the students of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Class 008 of the Firefighter 1/2 plus training program.

MFA Class 008 consists of about 40 call/volunteer firefighters from around Essex County who took The Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Firefighter 1/2 Plus Program. Our class met every Tuesday and Thursday night, and on a number of weekends, during the months of March, April, May, and June of 2005 at the Old Hamilton Library in South Hamilton, MA. Class sessions consisted lecture nights, where we were taught skills, and "Practicals" nights where we put the skills we learned into practice.

This site is designed to allow us to maintain communication among one another and share our firefighting experiences going forward from this class
