As some of you know, for the past 6 months or so I have been working on a computer advice website. Simply put, the website gives the 'Home Computer User', free, quick, simple instructions on bringing your computer up to speed. It includes step by step instructions on items such as antivirus, antispyware, firewalls, Microsoft updates, Firefox, removing temp files, defragmenting hard drives, etc. If any of this sounds over your head, don't worry because the site will explain it to you.
The website draws on my experiences working in the computer center at my college, and all the virus & spyware ridden computers I encountered. It astonished me how many people were willing to live with a slow computer when just a few steps could breathe new life into their machine. With help from other people who worked with me in the computer center, this website has grown into a must read for every home computer user out there.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, the website is now officially ready to be released, so please take a look at it, run through the steps, and, most important, tell everyone you know about it. When you are visiting family and friends over the holiday, and they mention or complain about their computer, tell them about the site and then email them a link to it. Tell everyone in your address book about it (view the website section on forwarded emails before sending a mass email). If you run into any issues with the website, please use the contact me form to let me know about them.
Here is a link to the site, note that it is .net

With your help, this site can and will make a difference for home computer users everywhere.
Thanks!
